NativeCall Β· Reviewer guide

Try it. Then tell your own story.

For journalists, creators and curious customers: source material, three practical tests and a checklist for sharing what you find.

Delegate the task

Tell us the task. A person calls in Japanese and provides a written result. The service page lists current prices, handling times, attempts, callback options and refund terms.

Speak with live translation

You take part through the app; the other person answers a regular phone. This is billed separately from delegated tasks. Check the supported languages and call-cost examples.

Choose a useful test

01

Restaurant booking

Choose a restaurant you genuinely want to visit that accepts phone bookings. Write down the date, party size, alternatives and success criteria first. Check the final booking result and total fees.

02

Changes and callbacks

Use your own real booking to test a time or party-size change. Record any business callback, when its message reaches you and who follows up. If no callback occurs, mark that part untested.

03

Live translation

Call a consenting Japanese-speaking tester. Check meaning, names, dates and numbers. Time from the end of speech until the other person actually hears the translation, in both directions.

Include the details that matter

Record the test date, app version, device, languages, original request, actual cost, elapsed time and final result. Remove private details from screenshots and videos. Obtain permission from participants first.

Reviewers choose the test, conclusions and whether to publish. Disclose any free service or other compensation. We do not require a positive review. This guide is supplied by NativeCall.
