What Native Call does

Native Call lets you place real phone calls to Japanese numbers and translates both sides of the call in real time. To provide that service, call audio is processed by our calling and speech infrastructure while the call is active.

Information we process

  • Account information, such as your email address.
  • Call metadata, such as destination number, call time, and duration.
  • Call audio while live translation is running.
  • Bilingual transcripts shown in the app after calls.
  • Purchase and entitlement data needed to manage calling minutes.
  • Diagnostics and crash data used to keep the app reliable.

How we use information

We use this information to place calls, translate speech, show call history and transcripts, prevent abuse, process purchases, provide support, and improve reliability. Native Call does not sell personal information.

Service providers

Native Call uses third-party infrastructure for telephony, speech recognition, translation, speech synthesis, payments, analytics, diagnostics, and email support. These providers process information only as needed to deliver those services.
