Before you call

Kyoto Station is really two railway companies: the conventional lines and most of the station area belong to JR West, while the Tokaido Shinkansen platforms and trains belong to JR Central, and their lost property systems are separate. JR West is on 0570-00-4146, Japanese only, 9:00 to 19:00; JR Central is on 050-3772-3910 or the LINE find chat. Note the time, line and item description before calling.
